Thurles Studio Launches Exciting New Game

Thurles-based video game development studio NeverMind Games has released their latest game title ‘TroubleSum’ onto the global mobile gaming market. Located at the expanding Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre at LIT Thurles, NeverMind Games, which was established by four Computer Games Development graduates in 2010, continues to go from strength to strength.

As well as developing fun games for the mobile gaming market, the team are also developing games with an educational twist, such as their new title ‘TroubleSum’.

In bringing this latest creation to the market, Mark Lambe, co-founder and CEO of NeverMind Games said “Last year, we started to look at game ideas that had an educational aspect to them. ‘TroubleSum’ was a natural fit. It’s a really fun game, seamlessly combined with an educational twist.” TroubleSum is a 2-D puzzle game currently available for iOS (iPhones, iPads and iPods) and Windows Phone 7. It combines clever and exciting gameplay with wonderful visuals to create an all-out fun experience and is packed with several stunning visual themes and two different game modes to craft an in-depth and highly polished gameplay experience. As the user plays ‘TroubleSum’, blocks begin to stack up, each block has a number on it and the user has to reach a target. By adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing the blocks, the user can make them disappear in order to get points and buy valuable time.

On its release, ‘TroubleSum’ hit the number 1 spot in the App Store for educational games in Ireland and has also broken into the top 25 overall in Ireland. With their games generating such interest, the future looks trouble free for this innovative local company! For further information on the company, check out www.NeverMindGames.co
