Roscrea To Be Televised Around The World

On St Patrick’s Day, images from Roscrea will be beamed across the globe as Roscrea plays host to the annual St Patrick’s Day mass which will be televised on RTE 1 at 11am. Preparations for the mass have reached fever pitch as the organsing committee from Roscrea Comhaltas work around the clock to help ensure that Roscrea is portrayed in it’s best light on the day.

Television cameras have been in Roscrea for the last week preparing for the event and will reappear once again on the morning of the 17th as the traditional mass is broadcast across the world through TV and the internet.

The event comes on the back of the very successful television mass which was broadcast live from the RTE studios in 2012 featuring the Roscrea branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.
