Roscrea Ramblers

There were two walks on Sunday last – the short walkers headed on a three hour walk to Monahincha, led by George McManus, while 13 long walkers headed to the source of the Barrow river, led by Mick Fogarty – this was 14.5 klm walk – it’s reported there were some stiff and sore bodies at the end of this walk! The weather for both walks was fantastic.

This Sunday, there are two walks – the short walk is around the grounds of the Monastery, led by Mary Carroll – very suitable for anyone interested in trying a short walk, while the long walk will be led by JJ Bergin – details will be advised by text. Hopefully, the good weather will continue. Log on to www.roscrearamblers.com for full details of activities or catch us on Facebook.
