Last Sundays walks were -
short walk was to the Devils Bit, led by Brian Redmond. While it was a very cold day, the walk was very enjoyable with beautiful views of the Tipperary countryside.
The long walk was a tough 6 hour walk in the Galtees, led by Christy Lupton. Next Sundays walks are – short to Paul’s Lane in Cadamstown, led by Martin Matthews, with the long walk yet to be confirmed – members will receive the usual text on Thursday. For those thinking of joining Roscrea Ramblers, why not come along to Cadamstown on Sunday – meet in Grant’s Hotel carpark at 11am – you don’t need to be a member – you can do two short walks without joining - just to see if you like it – for this walk, you will need walking boots – this walk will be mucky.
