Roscrea, Durrow and Killaloe Venture Scouts are ‘Scouting for Africa’

Some of the 30 young Venture Scouts who heard a presentation given by CAHPA Charity Founder Eirene Griffin, on Friday October 12th.

A group of young people from Roscrea, Killaloe and Durrow all Venture Scouts are holding a Fair on November 3rd in Roscrea Scout Hall, Abbey Street, Roscrea from 2pm – 5pm.

Each of the Venture Scouts are currently working on their Gaisce (President’s Award) and their Chief Scout Award, as part of this award the young people are asked to take part in a shared Intercultural experience. We are very lucky in our town to have Mrs. Eirene Griffin who is the founder of the charity CAHPA, Eirene while based in Abidjan on the Ivory Coast,
