Presentation Carol Service

Last Tuesday, December 18th Presentation, Thurles, annual School Christmas Carol Service was held in the Cathedral. All students took part with each year group singing songs such as “Christmas Lullaby” and “Little Drummer Boy”. Pres Singers performed “Hope is born tonight” and TY students Megan Bailey and Andrea Quinlan gave a beautiful rendition of “When Christmas comes to town”.

Symbols were placed on the Jesse Tree and a reflection “Why did you come Lord the way you did?” was read by Eimear Duff and Hailey Costello from second year. Our first year student council representatives-Avril Hogan and Avril Scally presented a cheque on behalf of the school to Mr. Sonny Felle from the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We would like to thank our school chaplain Fr. Tomas O’Connell and the members of the religious and music departments for making this a memorable carol service.
