Paddy will be very sadly missed

The death took place of Paddy McLoughlin, Mountainview Drive, and formerly of Woodenstown, Cahir, recently. The deceased was employed by South Tipperary County Council for over 40 years up to his retirement.

He was a very popular neighbour who loved to chat when he took a break from his beloved garden.

An outdoor person, he appreciated nature and the simple things in life. In his early days Paddy was a great campaigner for the community. His health failed him in his latter years, but he retained his sense of humour and looked forward to all the news from town.

The funeral Mass was celebrated by Fr. S. O'Dwyer, P.P. Cahir, assisted by Fr. M. Knight, Rockwell, and Fr. Pat Butler, P.P. Clogheen, and burial took place in the adjoining cemetery.

Sympathy is extended to his wife Ada, his sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister Nora, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends. May his Soul rest in peace.
