Night Navigation Car Trial

On Saturday Night 20th/21st October 2012, the Birr & District Motor Club will be holding a Car Night Navigation Trial in the Nenagh/Borrisoleigh/Upperchurch/Milestone/Rearcross/Newport/Ballinahinch and Carrigatogher Areas.

This event is a map reading exercise similar to orienteering on open roads in ordinary cars (not rally cars). All competitors are required to obey the rules of the road and all cars are technically examined before the start to ensure safety and noise control. About 30 cars are expected to pass along the route. The Navigation Trial Starts near Borrisoleigh at 22.01pm and Finishes back in Nenagh at about 3am.
