Home Instead’s Concerns Over Health Cuts

Home Instead Senior Care would like to voice its concern to the Irish Government the impact the proposed HSE cuts to home care services will have for older people who want to stay in their own homes.

In a statement to The Tipperary Star this week, they said;

“The consequences of these cuts will be earlier admissions to, and longer stays in acute hospitals and anguish for families who need support to care at home for older relatives who may also be suffering illness, frailty or disability. Unless health problems dictate otherwise, older people want to remain independent and continue living in their own homes for as long as possible. See this weeks Tipperary Star for full story.
