South Tipperary Tourism Company invites you to join us on a guided walk at Glengarra

Woods near Cahir in South Tipperary and afterwards at nearby Kilcoran Lodge for some

refreshments.

first of our 2013 walks and part of our series of yearlong events showcasing the Tipperary

10, an integral part of Tipperary’s tourism offering. Voluntary contributions on the day will be used for the promotion and development of walks within the County.

Route: The Millenium Trail, a looped walk at Glengarra Woods

Theme: Nature. The Flora and Fauna of the historical mixed woodlands.

Date and Time: Saturday 9th of March at 2pm. Registration from 1.30pm

Meeting Point: Glengarra woods carpark, 12km south west of Cahir on the old Dublin to

Cork road.

Walk Length/duration: 7km/2 to 2.5 hours Minimum Gear: Trekking shoes, raingear and

fluids

Level of Walk: Moderate
