County SHC Quarter Final Previews

Smart Money on Mid Triple to Accompany Portroe in Semi’s

It’s County senior hurling quarter final time in Tipperary this coming weekend with the senior clubs having been whittled down to the last eight quite quickly.

Most patrons would have expected that the Tipperary senior hurling squad would have commanded the lions share of the September air time. But, even allowing for the fallout from their capitulation at the hands of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final final, and all the comment that followed throughout the county, the senior hurling championship has really dominated talk, with a few high profile casualties last weekend adding to the growing sense of urgency in the championship.
