County Road Relays
These Championships will kick start the County Road Championships for 2013 when they take place in Dundrum at 1pm this Sunday 10th February. Athletes are reminded to assemble at the Boys Scouts Hall, race headquarters at 12.45pm for instructions. Both events are over the same distances and so will start together at 1pm.
The format is 4 athletes per team and they have to run 800M, 1500M, 800M and 3000M. As regards Eligibility is as follows: an athlete 16 years and over 20 (Junior athlete) on the 31st December in the Competition Year can compete in the 800m & 1500m legs, however there is a Maximum of 2 Junior athletes per team. While a Senior athlete is an athlete who is 20 years and over on the 31st of December in the Competition Year.
