Commercial Win 15th Title

Congratulations to Clonmel Commercials on winning their 15th count senior football title and first for 10 years when they defeated defending champions, Thomas MacDonaghs, by 1-9 to 0-5 at Semple Stadium on Sunday last.

The game attracted a very disappointing attendance of just under 800 people. Coleman Kennedy was the deserved recipient of the John Quirke Jewellers sponsored Man of the Match award.

His goal in the second half swung the game decisively in Commercials’ favour. Commercials will play Kerry champions, Dr. Crokes, in the semi-final of the AIB Munster club senior football championship in Killarney on Sunday November 18.
