The Annual General Meeting of Roscrea Community, Tourism & Leisure Co-op Society Ltd will take place at the Abbey Hall on Wednesday, 16th January, 2013 at 8pm. The Business of the meeting will include presentation of Financial Statements and the minutes of the previous years A.G.M. Nomination papers for those wishing to put themselves forward for election onto the Board of Directors are available at the Abbey Hall, Roscrea or from Hon. Secretary – Lilian Delaney and must be returned by Friday, 11th January, 2013.

Kickback Café
The KickBack Café is delighted to launch its Light Bulb pack, which is a brighter guide to promoting your mental health. The pack was launched by Fr Lorcan Kenny in the KickBack Café Rosemary Street, in Roscrea recently. The Light Bulb Pack is a support pack that was developed by young people for young people. Roscrea Woman Is Language
Ambassador Of The Year
A Roscrea woman has been awarded the title of Language Ambassador of the Year 2012 in recognition of her lifetime contribution to the promotion and teaching of languages and for her ongoing effort to promote the authentic use of language by students and staff. Fionnuala Kennedy, daughter of the esteemed and well-known Late Muris O Cinneide and Mai, Templemore Road, Roscrea, currently works as a lecturer at the Waterford Institute of Technology where she is an avid promoter of languages. While her specialisation is German and Intercultural Studies, Fionnuala works with staff at the Institute to promote the visibility and use of languages around the campus.
