Popular Boherlahan builder TJ Ryan and his wife Claire have turned their hand to Innkeeping. The new owners of 46 Main Street Cashel, (formerly Dowling’s) opened their doors for business last Thursday. Jockey Wayne Lordan was on hand to cut the ribbon and launch TJ’s traditional Irish Pub, ably assisted by ‘Bookmaker to the Stars’ Ken Fitzgerald. TJ, who is well known in racing and hurling circles, has managed to create more of a sense of space in this charming 17th Century building. Drumbane native TJ will continue to run his successful building firm Roskeen Construction.
