Storm Wreaks havoc in Tipperary


About 800 homes in Tipperary are without electricity following the storm which wreakend havoc across the Premier County last night.

Power outages were the order of the wild evening with a severe storm battering the towns and countryside. And, this morning many Tipp people are counting the cost of the damage done with a lot of localised flooding, impassable roads, and trees down throughout.

Emergency crews are working round the clock to restore power with areas of Thurles, Fethard, Upperchurch and Nenagh currently without electricity.
