St Pat’s Teacher courses now accepting students

On December 16th last Mr. Ruairí Quinn, Minister for Education and Skills, decided to allow St. Patrick’s College to accept another intake of students in September 2014.

This is great news for St. Patrick’s College, the staff, the student body and the town of Thurles. The College is currently offering four teacher education degree programmes at level 8:

The above programmes are of 4 years duration. They are concurrent teacher education programmes (this means that you are qualified to teach at post-primary level).

All programmes are accredited by the University of Limerick (which means students graduate with University of Limerick degrees) and are recognised by the Teaching Council.

Applications may be made through the CAO. For information on entry requirements please go to the College website www.stpats.ie
