This year’s Hall of Fame award goes to Roscrea and Tipperary Senior All-Ireland Medal winner Tadhg O’Connor.
Tadgh had the honour of lifting the Liam McCarthy Cup for Tipp in 1971. The Contribution to Sport Award goes to Roscrea RFC Coach and Youth Co-Ordinator KenHenderson, while Nenagh athlete Pat Naughton picks up the Special Recognition Award. Pat won the National Senior Decathlon in 1959 and was National Champion. The other award recipients are: Loughmore/Castleiney GAA (Club of the Year); Templemore Athletic Club (Athletics Club); Niamh Dollard (Camogie Award); Colin O’Riordan (Gaelic Football Award); Mairéad Daly (Ladies Gaelic Football Award); Suzanne Corcoran (Golf Award); Matthew Whelan (Hurling Award); Riverdale Ladies All Ireland Team Championships (Pitch & Putt); Alison Miller (Rugby Award); and Dwane Palmer (Youth Award).
