Knockavilla Community Council - donate your phone for a worthy cause

Defibrillator

Defibrillator

The Council are starting their campaign to collect all used mobile phones to help us to get a

defibrillator put in place in Knockavilla.

We will be putting collection boxes in all the local shops in Knockavilla and Dundrum, and also in Knockavilla church to facilitate the collections. Remember, if any one receives a new phone over the Christmas maybe the old phone could be donated to this worthy cause.

Defibrillators save lives. They are used to deliver an electric shock to the heart when someone is having a cardiac arrest.

The Council would also like to thank Santa for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit the children last weekend. Also thanks to the Garda Mick Mahoney for organising the transport, and to Michael and Charlie for their help with the lights, and Fás and Coillte for their help with the

Christmas tree.
