‘Irish Coffee’ for Thurles

Perhaps you’ve still some of your school Irish. You might watch the odd programme on TG4 or sometimes, listen to An Nuacht - but haven’t a way of speaking it.

Then, ‘Irish Coffee’ may be for you!

You could enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea if you like) and chat in Irish and use whatever level of the native tongue you have in a warm, cosy and friendly venue - Bookworm, Liberty Square, Thurles at a 11 a chlog.

This new concept for the area begins on Tuesday next January 14th and is a very welcome addition to the social fabric of The Cathedral Town. Perhaps you’ll chat about the weather, current affairs, the state of the economy, the local sporting scene, or maybe review a book you read recently. Whatever takes you fancy is fair game , and you can enoy it all in the comfort of Bookworm.

You’ll be very welcome and don’t worry - your Irish won’t be corrected.
