Ballycahill Sewage Problem

Councillor Jim Ryan has raised a serious sewage problem in Ballycahill village which is causing a lot of annoyance to residents.

Speaking at a meeting of the Thurles Area Councillors, and having raised the matter also at a meeting of North Tipperary County Council, Cllr Ryan said that urgent attention is required for the communal septic tank in the village behind the school as sewage is seeping out of it and running down the road during wet weather. It is totally unacceptable, he said, and added that the council must act right away.
