All set to Milk It -White Tache Bash

The much anticipated White Tache Bash is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 10th.

The day is being organised by a Transition Year group who are competing in the Dairy Council’s Milk It! Competition to highlight the importance of dairy as part of a healthy diet. The event will hopefully encourage students to become card carrying members of the White Tache Brigade. Milk and moustache related fun and games are to take place in the sports complex for an hour. There will be a milk table quiz, word searches, famous moustache games and many more fun events. The organisers of the event are Mollie Kavangh, Aine Coman, Maeve Carew and Lucy Hayes.

The junior team finally hit the field last week to play the Munster junior B final, the match had been previously postponed twice owing to bad weather conditions. The girls took on Colaiste Dun Iascaigh from Cahir in Loughmore. The match was close throughout with both teams battling valiantly for the title, however the Cahir side managed to edge ahead in the second half and finished with a three point lead. The final score was Ursuline 2-5 to Cahir 1-11. Well done to the players and to their coach, Ms Hogan, and assistant coach, Ms O’Friel.
