The Cashel King Cormacs GAA Club Juvenile Medal Presentation was held on Sunday night last in Halla na Feile.

The night was sponsored by Joe’s Barber Shop in Cashel. It was great to see such a large crowd in the hall for such an important event. Along with the juvenile players, parents of players and juvenile committee members; also present were Senior Club Secretary Aodan Wrenn, Senior Club Chairman Brendan Bonner and Senior Club President Sean O’Duibhir. Juvenile Chairman Joe O’Dwyer opened proceedings and thanked all the players and mentors for their efforts throughout the year. He congratulated the U/14 footballers on winning the West Feile title and the West Championship. Joe remembered Pat O’Donoghue Senior, who passed away this year. Pat coached the 1992 Cashel King Cormacs team to win the County Feile Championship that year. Coach P.J. Mooney, coach, gave an overview of the Under 14s season. PJ then presented the West Feile medals and the West Championship medals. Joe O’Dwyer mentioned that 40 years Cashel King Cormacs won a Co. Minor Double.
