Joan is ‘Business Woman of the Year’ - awards night

Mary Ryan Murray, CPA MIATA, President of Network North Tipperary is delighted to announce that their member, Joan McGowan of the Fairways Bar in Kilruane, Nenagh won Network Ireland Business Woman of the Year Award in the established business category.

Joan is Secretary and Vice President of Network North Tipperary. The announcement was made at the annual conference and gala awards dinner in Kilashee House on Friday last week.

The conference was opened by Tánaiste Joan Burton and the MC for the day was Colette Fitzpatrick. Joan topped the category where she competed against Aideen O’Grady of Starcamp (Highly commended), Andreea Lordachescu of Save the Date, Barbara Moynihan of ‘On Your Feet’, Eleanor Wogan of ‘Workwise’, Rebecca Birchall of ‘Fishers of Netownmountkennedy’ and Sandra Hart of BNI.

“I accept this award on behalf of all the business women in Network North Tipperary. They are an amazing group of women.” Joan thanked the sponsors AIB and Eleanor Forrest of the Local Enterprise Office for all the assistance LEO has given all North Tipperary Network Members. She also thanked Marion Murphy Cooney, dress designer for providing her stunning gown on the night.
