Dualla Ploughing Association was founded in 1934, making it one of the oldest in Ireland.

The members of the first committee came from a broad community area that extended well beyond Dualla’s boundary and that is true of the committee to this present day. The members extend into the neighbouring parishes of Moycarkey, Killenaule, Cashel, Fethard and Clonoulty. The records show that the Dualla ploughmen were skilful in the art of good ploughing and their competitive spirit was rewarded by winning many titles at both county and national championships. Members of Dualla Ploughing Ass have served in various positions as administrators both on the County Executive and of the Executive of the NPA Association. One of the members Tom Ryan of Littleton will represent the Association at this year’s All Ireland.
