Roscrea Stands Up Youth Awards

The group had a lengthy discussion with the minister in which they spoke frankly to him about their concerns and the issues  that the young people of Roscrea raised in the recent youth survey. This meeting was made possible thanks to Noel Coonan TD and Derek Russell.

That’s the simple objective of the inaugural Roscrea Stands Up Youth Awards, which will be held on Friday January 16th, at 8pm sharp in the Racket Hall Hotel, Roscrea. Mr. Adrian Hewson will act as MC on the night and the Guests of Honour include Mr. Seamus Dennison of Munster Rugby fame and Fr Tom Corbett President RSU. RSU Youth Group; local Clubs and Societies who have a special interest in the role of the Youth in the community have come together to offer support to one another. In doing so they ultimately strive to make Roscrea a better place for young people. Their collective objective is ‘to afford the youth of Roscrea the opportunity to join at least one local club or organisation.’
