GAA won’t buy Hayes Hotel

The GAA has once again stated that they are not interested in purchasing Hayes Hotel in Thurles according to Minister Alan Kelly, but have agreed to work with the Government to come up with a plan to secure it’s future.

The GAA has once again stated that they are not interested in purchasing Hayes Hotel in Thurles according to Minister Alan Kelly, but have agreed to work with the Government to come up with a plan to secure it’s future.

“It was agreed at a meeting to put together a proposal as to how the GAA in particular can work with an investor to preserve what is a very important place from an Irish history and heritage point of view. I will do everything I can to ensure that the future of the hotel is secure,”Min Kelly said.
