Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a serious assault in Cahir, Co. Tipperary on Saturday, (16th February).
At about 8.20pm a man in his early 20’s was seriously injured when he was stabbed during an incident at Riverdale, Cahir. He was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital and later transferred to Cork University Hospital. It’s understood the man is Polish, and was stabbed in front of his partner, and mother. He is reported to be in a stable condition.
One man has been questioned in relation to the incident, and Cahir Gardaí say it’s likely further arrests will be made in the coming days.
