In the coming days all businesses in the town will receive an invoice with regards the Christmas Lights.
At Monday evening’s Chamber meeting, both the President Seamus Browne and the Chamber Secretary Brian King called on all businesses to make a contribution to the lights. The Christmas Lights for Roscrea have historically been funded by the town’s business community. Most would agree that they are an important aspect in encouraging customers to come into the town for Christmas shopping but also an important part of a childhood Christmas.
That said the Chamber Officers highlighted once again at Monday’s meeting the substantial running costs associated with the lights. The contribution requested from the local Business Community towards the Christmas Lights is J95.
