Tipp Youngsters’ Dreams Come True

Local Tipp youngsters Danielle Byrnes and Mark Gleeson were some of the lucky children whose dreams came true all thanks to Jedward. The famous twins picked the two from hundreds of children and they got to spend a magical day as some of their ‘dreamers’.

This Christmas on RTÉ Two, Jedward will once again make dreams come true for children from all over Ireland on their IFTA nominated Irish television show - ‘OMG! Jedward’s Dream Factory’. The young people’s entertainment programme will be broadcast as a ten part series on RTÉ Two from Christmas Day. The show will air every day (apart from New Year’s Eve) until Friday 4th January 2013.

In the second episode, we meet Danielle Byrnes who has always wanted to be a TV make-up artist. Jedward arrange for her to undergo a masterclass in the International Make-up Academy to prepare her for a day behind the scenes in RTÉ! Danielle tests out her new found skills on glamorous presenter Miriam O’Callaghan, who later turns up to meet Jedward in the Dream Factory to talk about her experience. In a moment of madness, Jedward make Miriam jump on their sofa and Miriam’s high heels end up going right through their sofa!

Mark Gleeson is a huge snooker fan and in the sixth episode Jedward arranged for snooker legend Ken Doherty to surprise him with a fun filled day out at his snooker academy! To Mark’s delight, he got to ask Ken all about his career as well as play snooker with him and learn some trick shots! Back in the Dream Factory, Mark demonstrated his new found snooker skills with Jedward, performing the perfect trick shot!

‘OMG! Jedward’s Dream Factory’ features boys and girls of all ages and from all corners of the country who wrote to Jedward asking for help in achieving their dreams. Viewers will follow each child on their journey to fulfil a variety of dreams which include everything from going behind the scenes of hit TV show Mrs Brown’s Boys, joining the Riverdance Troupe, to training with the Munster rugby team and starring in the Beano!
