Lenten Talks - Lenten Talks continue in the Community Hall next Tuesday night at 8 p.m. concluding at 9.30 p.m. The talk is interesting and informative and most appropriate for the Lenten season. All are most welcome to attend.

Active Retirement Group - The organisers have arranged an outing to the matinee (2.30 p.m.) performance of the musical, “Sound of Music” in the Grand Canal Theatre, Dublin on Thursday, April 14th. Anyone interested in travelling should get in touch immediately to either Rita Croke at 43185 or to Siobhan Hayes at 43123. The organisers are sorry for the lateness of announcement of this outing which was caused by theatre policy which required that tickets must be paid in full by Tuesday, March 22nd. Co. Tipperary Festival - The Festival continues nightly until this Saturday night, March 26th. Since the Festival commenced on Friday, March 18th audiences have enjoyed some great plays and powerful drama by groups from Skibbereen, Conna, Schull, Silken Thomas Players, Kildare. Our own group excelled with their presentation of ‘Lovers at Versailles’ on opening night. The cast included Claire Ryan, Diane Lacey and daughter Jackie, Joanne O’Neill, Marian Bourke, Martin Hehir, Derek Doherty and Tommy Lanigan. Producer and Director Pat McGrath. Tonight, Thursday, 24th March Brideview Players will be on stage with their play ‘The Clearing’. Friday night Palace Players are on stage with ‘Doubt’ and finally on Saturday night, Nenagh Players will stage ‘Out of Order’ which will bring the Festival to a close. You still have a few nights to see drama at its best.
