It's a new year and The Source Arts Centre is setting out its stall with a programme of delights to tickle your fancy.
The new season kicks off with the film club presenting The Kids Are Alright, a film described as "one of the most enjoyable films of 2010" by the London Film Festival.
The first comedy act of the year, Neil Delamere, is already heading for a sold out show. There is even more comedy on Saturday 22nd January when the hit show Bombshells comes to Thurles with a rip-roaring explosive evening of hilarity in the company of four different women on the edge. So whether it's the frenetic 30 something mother, the terrified bride, the fame seeking teenager or the simmering widow, There is bound to be somebody here you recognise. This show could be the excuse you needed for that long earned night out with the girls, so mark it in your diary.
More changes are afoot as the caf has been closed for renovations and is due to re-open on 18th with a new look and new faces, as husband and wife team Matt and Sheena Lacovara take over. Why not pop in and see what you think of the new dcor and the new menu?
The month is closed out with a local theme as Phoenix Productions take to the stage with The Producers on 27th and Fracture Youth Theatre present Romeo and Juliet on 28th and 29th.
