In June 1964 a little estate in Roscrea came alive with the sight and sounds of its 1st residents moving into their new homes in number 1 to 20 Kennedy Park;it was called after the late American President John F Kennedy.
It was the first phase of what was going to be the biggest housing estate in North Tipperary comprising three estates in one Kennedy Park Brophy Terrace and Cois Carrig. On Friday residents got up early for some fun and two residents cut the Birthday cake, Pat Ryan and Ena O’Lone. Saturday saw a family fun day with a Mass Celebrated by Fr Michael Harding and past PP Fr Tony Cahir. Music was provided by Jayo our Resident Digital DJ.
We had Bouncy Castles, a Mechanical Bull, Sumo Wrestlers, and a wrecking ball courtesy of Camcor Castles, and a giant jenga thanks to John Brophy and C.A.M.P. Thanks to everyone who helped us out on our special day!
