Nenagh Gardai probe four burglaries

The Gardai in Nenagh are investigating four burglaries in the area over the past week. A quantity of jewellery was taken in one of the break-ins.

The Gardai in Nenagh are investigating four burglaries in the area over the past week. A quantity of jewellery was taken in one of the break-ins.

The jewellery was stolen from a house in Garrykennedy that was broken into at around 1.50pm on November 1 after the culprits forced a window.

The Gardai suspect that the same gang broke into a house at Ballyvaughan Lower, Portroe, at around 2pm the same day but were disturbed by the resident. They took a radio.

Meanwhile, DMG Energy Ltd on Dublin Road, Nenagh, was broken into on October 31 / November 1, when thieves entered the building through the roof. A number of items are reported to have been taken in the raid.

And Gardai are following a definite line of enquiry into a break-in at Donie Comerford’s garage, Carrigatoher, on October 30. It is understood the culprits were caught on CCTV.
