Traffic lanes at Killinan Junction need to be better marked out according to Thurles Councillor Seamus Hanafin.

“This is a very dangerous junction at the best of times and the present roadmarkings are causing motorists some confusion,” he said and added that there are three lanes at the junctio. “Unfortunately, some motorists are mistakenly using the right turn lane to turn for Ballycahill and are turning down into oncoming traffic.” Cllr Hanafin asked the Area Engineer to review the roadmarkings to make the junction safer. Cllr Billy Clancy agreed that the junction markings were confusing and supported the review call .
