With primary scholls right across Tipperary now fully back into the swing of the new school year, The Tipperary Star can reveal that pupils in The Premier County are amongst those being educated in the most overcrowded classrooms in the country.

This news will come as quite a shock to parents of children in the primary sector, but it is no surprise to the teachers and principals who have been delaing with overcrowded situations for quite some time. A whopping 90% of pupils are in classes of 20 or more and one fifth of pupils are being forced into “supersize” classes of thirty or more. See this weeks Tipperary Star for full report.
