FROM the 21st to the 23rd of September, the sixth Mansergh Family Clan gathering will take place in Tipperary Town. Phillipa Mansergh Wallace organised the first Rally in 1996 and one has been held every four years since

This year’s gathering will see people coming from Australia - New Zealand, Canada, Bali, Italy, Germany, England, USE, and, of course, Ireland.

Over 45 people will meet at the Tipperary Excel on the Friday evening for registration and a welcome reception followed by a visit to a local bar for a trad session and getting to know each other. On the Saturday, there will be a coach excursion taking in places such as Castle Leake, Lanespark, and Ballybur. People from all over the world identify themselves as members of the Mansergh Clan because they trace their family roots to the Mansergh family of Grenane House, or trace their family roots to the Manzerge named in the Domesday Book of 1066, Volume 1, pg 301, or feel connected in some way to the Mansergh name. To all our visitors for this special event we say Fáilte Thiobraid Arainn.
