North Tipp Parkinson’s Association’s AGM

The 2012 AGM of Tipperary Parkinson’s Association was held in Roscrea at the North Tipperary Leadership office with guest speaker from the Centre on the topic of positive mental health. There was enthusiastic participation from the members present as depression is a major factor with many Parkinson’s Disease sufferers.

The 2012 AGM of Tipperary Parkinson’s Association was held in Roscrea at the North Tipperary Leadership office with guest speaker from the Centre on the topic of positive mental health. There was enthusiastic participation from the members present as depression is a major factor with many Parkinson’s Disease sufferers.

The chairperson thanked all who assisted in organising the first meeting of the branch in Roscrea. It is our policy to rotate the meetings and in the near future we hope to be in a position to organise a meeting in South. Tipperary. We appeal to family members, friends and carers to get involved.

Our next meeting is a major one in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh, on Friday, April 27, at 7.45pm, with guest dpeaker Helena Moore, consultant neurologist.
