In response to comments made by Minister Kelly in last week’s edition of The Tipperary Star, Mayor Michéal Lowry M.C.C. sought to clarify a number of issues raised by the Government Deputy, and to address the assertions made by him with regards to the workings of North Tipperary County Council.

Mayor Lowry has stated that he has no wish for this to turn into a protracted argument between two elected representatives but that there are a number of glaring inaccuracies on the part of the Junior Minister that must be addressed.
