HIGHLY-ornate graffiti on walls around Nenagh was a “sign of drugs or something”, Nenagh Joint Policing Committee heard.
Neighbourhood Watch representative, Martin Langton, told the committee’s February meeting that “youngsters will tell you that’s what it is”.
He said that someone “very professional” was placing graffiti around the town and that it was being put on with certain paint that makes it difficult to remove.
“It seems to be growing. There is a meaning to it,” said Mr Langton.
Mayor Virginia O’Dowd agreed and said she had noticed that there was a “common theme” to the graffiti.
Cllr Tom Mulqueen said that it was even “on the way out to Capparoe”.
