Young Entrepreneurs

The first and second year Business students combined in groups developed business ideas and produced business plans. The school market day was 7th December when they put their ideas into action and presented their products for sale. Among the goods on sale were lamps, Christmas decorations and logs, sweets and confectionery. There was a great buzz in the hall as the whole school community shopped for Christmas. Also invited were third and fourth class from Gaelscoil Bhríde who especially enjoyed the pancakes and popcorn. Four first year and three second year teams were chosen to represent our school in the Young Entrepreneur County Competition. Innovation, use of recycled goods and profit were among the criteria used in selecting the winners.
