I.C.A. - The monthly meeting of the Golden Kilfeacle I.C.A. will take place in the Community Hall, Kilfeacle on this Wednesday, May 11th at 9 p.m. Hostesses on the night will be Nora Landers and Jane Horan. Babs Quillinan will present prize. Yoga will be at 8 p.m.

Fashion Show - A charity Fashion Show in Cashel Community School on May 13th at 7.30 p.m. Cheese and wine reception. Tickets 20 euro. Phone (062) 61167.

Tidy Towns - The annual church gate collection for Golden Tidy Towns will be held on Saturday 21st and Sunday, 22nd May. Please give generously.

Thomastown N.S. - A church gate collection in aid of Thomastown N.S. will take place on this weekend, May 14th and 15th in Golden and Kilfeacle. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Thurles Vigil - A three hour Vigil in honour of Our Lady of Fatima will be held in the Pallottine College Chapel, Thurles on Thursday, 12th May. It will commence at 8 p.m. and will consist of Eucharistic Hour, Marian Hour and Holy Mass. Enrolment in the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will take place during the Marian Hour.

G.A.A. Club - ‘Free Scrap Saturdays’, May 14th and May 21st. Want to get rid of your scrap metal, cars, vans, trailers, copper of any description, car batteries etc., household metal e.g. washing machines and any other item containing metal. Craic For Kids - Creative, Recreational, Activity, Indoor Camp for 5 - 11 year olds. This camp will be run by primary teachers in Golden Community Hall from July 11th to 15th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday (inclusive). 40 euro per child (family concessions available).
