Tipperary TD Noel Coonan has welcomed developments on Templemore Flood Relief Scheme with plans going on display this Friday, March 27, in Templemore Library
Deputy Noel Coonan said this display of plans is the next step towards commencement of the project.
“Templemore Flood Relief Scheme has encountered numerous difficulties and obstacles but is now on the final straight; and at long last hopefully construction will commence this year without delay.
“I have been in continuous personal contact with Minister Simon Harris who has special responsibility for the OPW and have used every opportunity given to raise the importance of the project with him. This project has been promised for many years and will hopefully come to fruition this year. The plans will be on display for a number of weeks. The OPW are inviting submissions from the public and are available to answer questions on the scheme,” concluded Deputy Coonan.
