Roscrea Youth Awards this January 16th.
The inaugural Roscrea Stands Up Youth Awards will be held this Friday (Jan. 16) at 8pm in the Racket Hall Hotel. RSU is pleased to announce the following Young People as Award Recipients.

1) Michael Campion for outstanding Gaelic Football with Inane Rovers 2) Colm Kirby-O Colmain for bringing a new dimension to Roscrea Toastmasters; 3) Cian Cordial for his Taekwondo Black Belt and Silver medal at the National Championships 4) Shane Davis for his commitment to hurling 5) Keith Doheny for his encouragement and dedication to all in the Sports Ability Club 6) Jack Doherty for his hurling prowess with Ballyskenagh/Killavilla 7) Anna Duane for her achievements in badminton 8) Roisin Dwyer for her hard working commitment to Irish dancing; 9) Michael Graham an extraordinary young man who is an inspiration to all who know him; 10) Margaret Harty for her generosity and positive influence on her friends in Coláiste Phobal 11) Michael Hayes for his determination in adversity to become an accomplished musician. 12) Jean Kennedy for achieving her second Karate black belt and World Championships silver medal; 13) U18 Team for leading by example with Killavilla Utd. AFC. 14) Sean Madden for his commitment to the Sports Ability Club; 15) Kevin Moore for being a stalwart of the Angling Club; 16) Aaron Neill for his achievements with St.Anne’s Special Olympics; 17) Sarah O’Halloran for her commitment to music; 18) Under 14 Relay Team who brought home gold after a fantastic display at the National Championships; 19) All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil Medal Winners members of Roscrea Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann; 20) Members of the Phoenix Team of Roscrea Scouts for their excellent performance at the National Championships; 21) Conor Ryan for his local and national Darts achievements; 22) Megan Ryan for her County and Provincial Camogie achievements; 23) Stephen Ryan in golf; 24) Kyle Shanahan for his commitment to the community ; 25) Mark Tierney for his and dedication to Roscrea Rugby Club; 26) Dan Walsh for the development of soccer with Killavilla UTD AFC 27) Luke Wright for his exploits with Roscrea Utd.
