Ena Graduated – Congratulations were recently extended to Ena Meagher, oldest daughter of Willie and Geraldine, Glasdrum, who graduated as Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & English from U.L. Best of luck Ena and much success in the future years ahead.

Birthday Greetings – Who celebrated their special birthdays recently were Jim Cranly, Bachelors Walk, Cappa and Danny Ryan, Mauvaun, both celebrated with their family and friends and were wished many more years of health and happiness.

Get Well Wishes – To Mikie Fahy, The Glen who was ill recently, this come from all his tea-dance friends in Cappa.

Congratulations – To the ladies football team who beat Fermanagh in Thurles on Saturday last 7th, especially our local girls Ann O’ Dwyer (Capt) Sheelagh Carew, Aoife Ryan and Helen Kennedy.

Best of Luck – To the Cappa Senior Ladies Football Team in the Co. Final on Saturday 14th in Monroe against Brian Boru’s. Best of luck also to the Under 14 Boys in the Co. Final next Saturday, the venue to be decided.

Activities in the Resource Centre – Registration on Friday next 13th September between 7 & 9 p.m. for all exercise classes. Boot camp, kettle bells, palates, tums & bums and circuit training for 13 – 18 year olds. Something to suit everyone so come along and join the fun.

Set Dancing – Children’s Set Dancing Classes with Philip Ryan will commence on Thursday evenings @ 5 p.m. in the Resource Centre. Starting on Thursday 12th September. If you need any more information contact Philip @ 087-6365661.

Irish Night - In memory of Pat White to be held in the Resource Centre in Cappawhite on Saturday28th Sept at 8.30pm.

A mixed night of music, dance and song. Local talent including The Badgers and The Tipperary Ceilí Band. Everyone welcome, musicians- bring your instruments, dancers- bring your dancing shoes, everyone else-bring a friend! Looking forward to a night of craic agus ceoil in memory of a great man! €5 admission. Tea, sandwiches, raffle. All proceeds will be given to the South Tipperary Hospice.

Thanks – To all who helped or contributed in any way to the recent collections for the Irish Heart Foundation. The amount raised was €455. Again many thanks.

Hospice – There will be a tea/coffee after all masses next weekend 14th & 15th Sept. in the Children’s room next to the church. All monies raised is in aid of South Tipperary Hospice. Any support would be appreciated.
