Injured Rosie Was Left in a Ditch to Die

This is the story of Rosie the dog.

This is the story of Rosie the dog.

On Thursday 27th June, Mary and Benny O’Grady discovered this poor dog (estimated to be about 10 months old) in a ditch in the middle of nowhere in Ballina. The dog was in a very distressed state and would die unless veterinary attention was received immediately.

A call was made to Frankie Coote, the Clare Dog Warden/Inspector, who rang Mike Madden in Newport as there is no Dog Warden operating in North Tipperary - local authority officials say that an appointment will be made very soon after the last warden retired.
