Renowned chef and TV personality Catherine Fulvio is throwing her weight behind a fundraising venture for the Clonoulty Rossmore Playground Group.
Catherine will hold a demonstration in Dundrum House Hotel on Friday Nov. 8th in a bid to bolster the coffers of the Group which is endeavouring to provide a state-of-the-art playground in the GAA field in Clonoulty, with work to commence in the Spring.
Already a number of events have been held including a Family Fun Day, night out in Coffey’s of Stouke, charity cycle etc. And, many more events are in the pipeline also with the very active committee keeping their thinking caps on at all times.
But, for now it is full steam ahead with the Catherine Fulvio night which is set to be a real success. Tickets are available from all committee members or from Fiona Kennedy at 087 6744839. And, this is not just a night out for the girls - men, why not come along and pick up a few tits.
Artisan food producers have been invited to come along and showcase their goods. And, due to the great demand for tickets, this has been expanded with the result that anybody who would like the opportunity to promote their business and products should contact Trisha on 086 8214545 to discuss.
South Tipperary Development Company has come good for a grant of €70,000 and the group is most appreciative of this. They also deeply appreciate the support of the local community who have been very generous in helping to raise funds. The finish line is in sight and when completed the playground will cater for children of all ages in a safe, healthy and challenging environment.
And, the facility will not just be for the chidlren of the parish of Clonoulty Rossmore - it will be available for all to use and enjoy.
“We are really looking forward to a great night out and tickets have been going quickly so we would encourage people to get them a soon as possible. There will be a drinks reception and some delicious finger food as well so the advice is, come on an empty stomach. We are conscious of the demands on peoples funds but we hope that while raising funds we are giving people a night out too,” Fiona Kennedy said.
