Irish Wheelchair Association’s Angel Campaign

This November promises to be a very busy month for Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) as they are launching their Annual Angel Campaign. It is hoped that a target of €500,000 will be raised through the sale of angel merchandise throughout the country.

This November promises to be a very busy month for Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) as they are launching their Annual Angel Campaign. It is hoped that a target of €500,000 will be raised through the sale of angel merchandise throughout the country.

These funds will support the many services that IWA provides nationwide including our Resource & Outreach Centre in the Hannon House, Abbey Street, Roscrea. Throughout the years IWA have played a key role in advocating for changes and improvements to the lives of people with physical disabilities. Many of the essential services IWA provides remain unseen; these include home support, personal assistance, and educational programmes while other services can be seen on a daily basis in our Resource centres, driving tuition, sports activities and our fleet of adapted buses. As we face into tough times it is more important than ever that the funds raised through our Angel campaign will go towards enabling IWA to continue these providing essential services to people with disabilities.

The Angel Pins, Pencils, phone charms and fun packs are distributed courtesy of DPD Ireland, the national courier service, who generously supports IWA’s Angel Campaign and if you wish to know more about our Angels please visit www.iwa.ie/angels For more information or to volunteer to help with the Angel Campaign please contact Irish Wheelchair Association Roscrea on 0505 23229.
