One hundred and forty-three First Year students entered Cashel Community School on this past Monday morning.

A crucial day in their lives, the entire day and their entry to the building will remain forever in their memories. There to meet them in the course of the day were the principal, deputy-principal, year head, tutors, chaplain, guidance counsellors, and numerous members of the staff. In addition, they were introduced to their LINKS - the Sixth Year students who will befriend and support them for the duration of First Year.

Very best wishes to the boys and girls of First Year 2012/13 for this school year and during the years to come.

Magical Debs Night.

The CCS graduates 2012 celebrated their Debs night in style – and with great style – at Cahir House Hotel on Thursday 23rd August. All were radiant - the ladies elegant, the gents debonair – as they danced the night away. A remarkable air of friendship and warmth pervaded the gathering. The debutantes presented gifts to Mr. Morrissey, Mrs. Skehan and Fr. Moloney in appreciation of their support and the support of the entire school staff during their years as students at CCS.

In arranging the Debs night, the student committee were assisted by the parents council and members of the council attended the function.

As they now go their separate ways, the members of Leaving Cert Class 2012 are wished strong health, lasting happiness, and good fortune throughout their future lives.
