RESIDENTS of Nenagh have been called upon to get involved in the public consultation process for the Draft Nenagh & Environs Development Plan 2013-2019.
Senior Planner Brian Beck told a meeting of Nenagh Town Council last week that he hoped to involve the public as much as possible in the process to finalise the plan.
“We hope and try to do our bit to get as much public involvement in the project as possible,” Senior Planner Brian Beck said.
“The plan will only become a true reflection of Nenagh if we can get the public involved in how they want their town to develop.”
Mr Beck made a presentation to Nenagh Town Council outlining the various facets to the plan before asking the councillors to pass the draft plan before the plan can be put on public display and the public invited to make submissions on it.
